About Tri-State Hawg Hunters

Welcome to Tri-State Hawg Hunters, 2023 Battle Ground Series.

We will be hosting 7 events for 2023 located on the waters of Western PA, Northern WV and Ohio. The 7th event is the Championship round and will be for the end of the year championship. To qualify for the end of the year championship contention, teams must fish 4 regular season events to qualify for contention in the championship round prize money.

Your best 5 weights will be counted to your points total. Championship will award prizes to top 3 teams at end of Championship Round.

Teams will consist of 2-3 anglers, youth members under 16 may participate and not count into total.

All of our events utilize public boat launches. All competitors must have a suitable livewell with aeration and water changes. All competitors must follow all PA Fish and Boat regulations and laws. All events have a 6 rods in use limit. All events will be a 3 fish weigh in consisting of Blue, Channel or flathead catfish. 

$125 entry fee, 20% goes to end of the year point series championship pot, $20 is automatically toward big fish, $80 to event pot. Tournaments are 100% payback

Last year we had a gave away over $22,500 in prize money through-out the year, we hope to see you on the water to compete for some great prizes!
