  1. Anglers participating in a TSHH sanctioned event shall observe this code of conduct and the applicable rules for the specific event in which they are participating. Violations will result in disciplinary actions. Anglers’ actions shall not reflect unfavorably on TSHH, its members, directors, peer review committee, other tournament anglers, sponsors or the events. Angler shall make their best effort to demonstrate professionalism and positively promote the sport of catfishing and tournament fishing. Anglers are expected to portray high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, respect and conservation.
  2. Any angler who violates the Angler Code of Conduct will be subject to fines, loss of points, suspension from events, termination from future participation or any combination deemed appropriate by the TSHH Directors and Peer Review Committee. Courtesy toward fellow anglers and spectators: Any act by an angler which reflects or portrays a negative image for TSHH, the series or the sponsors will be grounds for disciplinary action. This is to include safe driving, safe boating practices, fish conservation, sportsmanship and any actions that could be seen in a negative way as viewed by the public.
  3. Fishing Laws: All competitors are required to adhere to the laws for which the event is being held. This includes having the proper fishing license, creel limit(s), boat registration, speed zones and safety equipment.
  4. Public Attacks/Social Media: The favorable reputation of TSHH events, peer review committee, sponsors, directors and anglers are valuable assets and tangible benefits. Therefore, anglers are prohibited from comments which unreasonably attack or disparage the integrity of the series, tournament officials, peer review committee, sponsors or fellow anglers. Anglers are encouraged to express their concerns and have a right to ask questions of the rules and policies of the events. However, responsible expression of questions or disagreements is expected of anglers. Anglers making public comments that they know, or should reasonably know, will cause damage or harm to the series, peer review committee, sponsors, TSHH Directors or anglers will not be tolerated.

  6. Polygraph: By signing this code of conduct, anglers agree to submit to a Polygraph examination at anytime throughout the season, if requested by the TSHH Directors.
