EVENT RULES AND POLICIES
These rules have been established to encourage fairness, safety, conservation, and significant care for the fish caught. It is the goal of this event to move our sport forward as an example for all to follow.
- Good sportsmanship is expected of all individuals before, during, and after the tournament event. Failure to follow good sportsmanship may result in disqualification and/or revocation from fishing this and/or any Central Arkansas Fishing Community events.
- Any disorderly conduct will be reason alone for disqualification.
- Any violation will result in an automatic disqualification.
- All State and Federal rules must be observed. It is up to the anglers to determine what license or licenses may be needed. Arkansas Fishing License Descriptions Fees
- Teams are limited to a maximum of 3 persons.
- All children 16 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult.
- Life vests should be worn while underway and are encouraged at all times. All children must wear a life vest at all times
- Fish may only be caught by Rod and Reel method only.
- One participating angler from each team MUST be present at Registration and Captains Meeting.
- Teams will NOT be allowed to trailer. All boats must launch and be recovered from the Willow Beach Recreation Area. Once launched, teams must line up and wait for the pace boat to lead them to the main channel. Boats that launch after 7:00 AM are free to get underway in a safe and orderly manner.
- A maximum of 3 fish per boat will be allowed at the weigh-in. All fish must be alive and well at the time of weigh-in.
- Unlimited Rods will be allowed in the boat, only 6 rods allowed in the water at any one time.
- No snagging will be allowed
- No fouled hooked fish will be accepted (a fouled hook is any hook located behind the gill plate).
- No chumming.
- No fishing intentionally baited holes.
- All tournament boats must maintain a distance of 50 yards between each other while anchored and 50 feet while drifting or spot locked. This includes all boats.
- Buddy fishing or sharing of information during tournament hours including techniques, baits, location, etc. is strictly prohibited.
- No fishing outside of the boat.
- No use of alcoholic beverages, or illegal substances are allowed during tournament hours
Tournament Hours:

Registration Check begins at 5:30 AM

Captains Meeting 6:00 AM (Boat Live Well checks will begin immediately following the Captains Meeting at the boat ramp.)

6:30 AM Boats may leave the launch area and enter the Main channel of the river. (A pace boat will lead all teams to the main channel. )

7:00 AM 3:00 PM Active Fishing (Lines in the water prior to 7:00AM will be cause for immediate disqualification. )

11:00 AM Weigh in station opens. (Any fish weighed early for any reason must count toward the team total.)

4:00 PM Teams must be in launch area or weigh in line. (Teams that fail to return to the launch area before 4:00 will not be received at the weigh in line.)
