EVENT RULES AND POLICIES

All Federal and State Laws/Regulations must be followed.
Teams of 3 adults only. Kids do not count as anglers.
All kids must wear life vests.
Fishing must be done from a boat.
Pre-fishing must end 12 hours before start of the tournament.
Getting bait is allowed before tournament.
Any legal bait may be used.
8 Rods can be used.
No limit to the amount of rods on the boat.
Livewell must be of adequate size or team will not be allowed to fish.
After livewell check team may launch.
1 Team member must attend the Captains meeting at 7 am.
After captains meeting you may head to you location.
Lines in at 8 am.
5 fish limit. Size limit for Blue Catfish, only 2 over 30" maybe turned in.
If another Blue over 30" is turned in, team is disqualified.
No size limits on Channel Cats or Flatheads.
If more than 5 fish is brought to weigh-in team will be disqualified.
Fish must be turned in alive and able to swim off or team is disqualified.
Great care must be taken when handling fish.
No chumming or fishing Chummed areas.
No fishing 50 Yards of a competitor.
No fishing 50 yards of a Marina, boat ramp or public access area.
Leave areas clean and free from harm.
Chip must be turned in at 4:30 pm (no exceptions)
All fish will be weighed and measured by a tournament official.
Any disputes must be brought to the tournament director during weigh-in.
Boundaries will be discused at captains meeting.
Teams top 6 finishes will be counted towards season champions.
Big fish of the Season will be awarded at the end.
Life vest are encouraged to be worn.
Due to possible inclement weather, all boat captains must decide if it is safe for the team to proceed. Get-N-Hooked will proceed with the event unless the director along with 5 advisors determine the conditions to be unsafe to hold the event.
