EVENT RULES AND POLICIES

Cost is $55.00 per boat plus $25.00 Big Fish (optional). There will be 100% payout, minus $40 per tournament. With (1-6 boats) 1st Place payout. With (7-10 boats)  1st and 2nd place payouts. With (11-19 boats) 1st, 2nd, & 3"rd place payouts.With (20-30 boats) 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th place pay outs. $40.00 per tournament will be kept for club materials/awards.

All State and Federal rules will be observed. Contestants must have a valid fishing license on their persons for the body of water/state they are fishing in Fishing and boating licenses, as well as all state required safety equipment and insurance are the responsibility of the owner/team members.

Tournaments Hours: 7 am- 3 pm (normal day tournaments September - April); 6 am - 2 pm (May - August Tournaments). All boats must be at the weigh in (or ramp) by 3:15pm, (or 2:15pm for May-August tournaments).

A maximum of three (3) fish per boat will be weighed in. All fish must be alive in order to be weighed in. All fish weighed-in will be immediately released. Fish Under l0lbs may be kept for personal consumption, State laws apply! Note: No culling at the scales! ** 3-Fish shoot-out is 3 fish limit, non-points tournament! All other normal tournament rules apply!

Only Catfish will be allowed to be weighed in. Catfish species limited to Blue Cat, Channel Cat, or Flathead Cat. No other species of fish are allowed to be weighed in.

Only two (2) fish of 34 inches or larger may be weighed in per team regardless of how many persons participation in the tournament. Only bring the (3) fish to be officially weighed in for the tournament to the weigh in table, do not bring any more fish than allowed to be weighed in. Note: attempting to weigh in more than the allotted three (3) fish, or if a third (3rd) fish over 34 inches in length is attempted to be weighed in per team will result in automatic disqualification from the tournament (official measurements are certified by the Tournament Director and verified by a Committee Member').

This is a team event. The team can not exceed the boat's maximum occupancy per the Coast Guard tag. (2-person rules apply) Fish can be caught by rod and reel method only. No foul hooked fish will be accepted. There will not be a rod limit for the boat.

Only 3 members of each team can receive ACA points for our tournaments. You must declare what 3 team members will be getting the points at registration. 

Fishing within 100 yards (up or downstream) of a competitor's boat, same side of the river, which was first anchored / lines in water, is prohibited. Any legal commercial or natural bait is allowed.

Good sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, and conservation are expected of all individuals and disorderly conduct will be reason for disqualification if circumstances require. Decision of tournament director will be final.

In case of a tie, the money will be split for placement; i.e. 1't place tie equals an even split of I 't and 2nd place monies.

All decisions of the tournament director and committee are final. All protests must be brought to the attention of the tournament director prior to the conclusion of the tournament weigh-in.

Tournament locations are subject to change due to other tournament conflicts/river or ramp conditions/weather conditions/etc. Notifications will be well in advance, and all updates can be found on the Cumberland River Catman's Association Facebook page.

If caught cheating, you will be terminated indefinitely from all CRCA Tournaments! Any disqualification results in forfeiture of all entry fees! No guiding services allowed in the CRCA tournaments.
