Rules for all ACS tournament events:
- PFD’s and kill switches must be used.
- No limit on rod and reels in the boat or that may be used to fish with at a time.
- No alcoholic beverages will be allowed at any time during an ACS event.
- Teams of 1-3 people allowed. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Three fish limit. Only one fish allowed over 34 inches. All fish weighed must be alive. ALL fish that are weighed will be released and must swim off. Any dead fish brought to the scales or any fish that do not swim off will result in a zero weight for the angler. There will be early weigh-in available in the situation a fish is being stressed and in danger.
- No chumming allowed or fishing a known baited hole.
- Store-bought and live or cut bait are legal per Alabama state law.
- All Alabama game and fish rules and regulations apply as well as all Alabama boating regulations. Any unsportsmanlike conduct will result in immediate disqualification. There are no exceptions if you cheat or are found to be in violation of any rule you’re out indefinitely!
- All boats must have a properly functioning live well/tank/fish-box/big-cooler converted to a live well with an aerator system whatever the case may be with an adequate aeration system to hold and transport the fish. We want to cause the least amount of stress as possible on the fish. No stringers allowed. It is the angler's responsibility to have an adequate Livewell set up to keep their fish alive.
- All boat live wells will be inspected before a boat is launched or allowed to leave the boat ramp.
- ACS reserves the right to amend and/or add to these rules at a later date.
