About Tri-State Hawg Hunters

Welcome to Tri-State Hawg Hunters, 2022 Champions Series.

We will be hosting 9 events for 2022 located through-out the 3 river systems in Southwest PA, Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio rivers. The 9th event is the Championship round and will be for the end of the year championship. To qualify for the end of the year championship contention, teams must participate in 1 event on each river system and 1 event in the city. City events do not count as fishing on the individual river systems. So all teams must fish 4 events to qualify for contention in the championship round.

Your best 5 weights will be counted to your points total. Championship will award prizes to top 3 teams at end of Championship Round.

Teams will consist of 2-3 anglers, youth members under 16 may participate and not count into total.

All of our events utilize public boat launches. All competitors must have a suitable livewell with aeration and water changes. All competitors must follow all PA Fish and Boat regulations and laws. All events have a 6 rods in use limit. All events will be a 3 fish weigh in consisting of Blue, Channel or flathead catfish. 

$125 entry fee, 20% goes to end of the year point series championship pot, $20 is automatically toward big fish, $80 to event pot. Tournaments are 100% payback

Last year we had a great end of the year throwdown heading into the championship round. We look forward to moving the Tri-State area into bigger things and partnering with our new sponsors and the ACA.
