The Heart of Dixie Catfish Trail and Coosa River Bottom Feeders trail merged to form the Dixie Bottom Feeders Trail. The DBF Trail Follows the Tennesseee River and the Coosa River in Alabama and Tennessee.The Heart of Dixie Catfish Trail was founded in 2020 by a small group of anglers determined to promote and grow the sport of catfishing in our region of Alabama. We are based out of Northeast Alabama and put on events all across central and northern Alabama.  In the first year of the trail the organization grew from an initial 18 members to over 150 members. In 2021 we expanded even more welcoming a 187 members to the trail. In 2022 The merge with Coosa River Bottom Feeders has brought us a handful of new teams and will be adding some new waters to the yearly schedule. New anglers and veterans alike are always welcome and we strive to provide a friendly and fun environment for all to enjoy.
