2024 Tournament Rules

RULES

  1. All state and federal regulations will be observed.
  2. Fish may only be caught by rod and reel with a maximum of 12 catfish rods in the water at a time
  3. Can not fish within 50 yards of another boat
  4. This is a catch and release tournament. Fish must be weighed in alive and released after weighing in.
  5. No trailering will be allowed
  6. Must fish within 50 feet of your boat
  7. Any disorderly conduct will result in disqualification.
  8. The captain is responsible for the safe operation of the boat and liable for anything that may occur.
  9. No culling of fish at weigh in.
  10. No chumming or fishing intentionally baited holes.
  11. Anyone caught cheating will be banned from any future events and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. All participants are subject to a polygraph if it is deemed necessary.
  12. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the team with the biggest single fish. 
  13. Pay out structure will be determined by number of boats
  14. LIVEWELL/BOAT CHECKS WILL BE DONE AT THE LANDING BEFORE LAUNCH. 
  15. Registration and weigh-in times will vary by tournament. 
  16. Rules are subject to change, but only as necessary and with notice.

-Catfish Legends Points Race Rules
 
  1. All Catfish Legends rules must be followed to qualify for Trail Championship.
  2. Points will be earned and tracked by BOAT CAPTAIN. If you fish with a diffent team, points will be awarded to the Captains Team. 
  3. Points Race Championship points will be the total of the teams 5 best finishes. 
  4. Prize monies for the Points Race Championship will be based on a portion of collected registration fees and allocated Sponsor prizes.

All teams below 20th will receive 5 points. Teams that do not weigh a fish will only receive 5 points. 

BONUS 5 points for BIG FISH. You do not have to participate in the optional BIG FISH side pot to be awarded the bonus points. Bonus points only awarded once per event. In the event of a tie, the team with the higher aggregate weight will be awarded.
