AACH Natural State Catfishing Trail

Tournament Rules

1. AACH is not responsible for damages, injuries or theft of property.

 2. Mandatory Captains Meeting 30 minutes prior to launch time. Need to be signed up and fees paid prior to captains meeting.

3. Teams are made up of 1 to 3 anglers.( kids can be extra , as long as legal )

4.  There is no limit for poles in a boat. A team Can only fish with a maximum of 6 poles at any given time.

5.  All fishing and boating regulations must be followed during the event.

6.  There is a 3 fish limit for weigh-in. when 4th fish is caught one must be culled !!!

7.  All fish weighed in must be alive and good health for weigh in.

  (a)  Dead fish at scales is disqualification!!

  (b)  Stringers are not allowed.

  (c)  Must have a live well capable of keeping fish alive the duration of the tournament.  ( if you catch a big fish , if you bring it to my boat I will weigh it early if you don’t think you can keep it alive but it will count as one of your 3 fish !!!)   

 8.  Fishing within 50 yards of a marina gas pump or 100 feet from another boat which was first anchored is prohibited.

9.  All fish must be caught with rod and reel only. No fish may be taken from trot, limb or jug lines or yoyos. No snagging allowed.

10.  All fishing must be done from a boat.

11.  Trailing allowed at some events

12.  The use of legal commercial bait and legal natural bait is allowed. No chumming or fishing known chumming holes.

13. No use of drugs or alcohol during tournament hours.

14. In case of a tie pot will be split accordingly.

15. All protests must be submitted in writing to director before scales close (a good video time and date stamped of violation will be required).

Payout will be 50% 1st place

30% 2nd place and

20% 3rd place

100% payback

$100 for trail expenses will be taken out first…

Big fish pot 100% payout for biggest fish

Our points race will be most points at the end of our schedule, we will use points from all tournaments ( except tri state events ) to determine angler of the year .. 

will be based on 100 points for first —99 second—-98 third etc….

No weight at event will receive 50 points for showing up and fishing ..
