Welcome to our Family!!!

Founded by Barry Wilson in 2010, The West Tennessee Catfish Anglers was formed to be a grass roots catfishing club in West Tennessee. Our tournament footprint mainly focuses on the Mighty Mississippi River hosting events from Caruthersville, Mo to Clarksdale, MS, but also fish a few events on the Tennessee River at Pickwick.  We are members of both the TriState Tournament Directors Alliance as well as a ACA Division 4 Trail.  We host a benefit tournament every year raising much needed funds for the Carl Perkins Center for Abused Children.  We will also have an allianced event in June at Helena, AR to raise money for Healthy Hearts, a center to benefit those who are in need of heart transplants.  So if you want to come join us for a laid back, family oriented, tournament atmosphere, just look us up!!!  Bring the Kids also!!!
 

WestTN Catfish Anglers 12th Annual Carl Perkins Center Catfish Tournament

Taking Place on the Big Muddy at Ashport Landing on HWY 19 West of Ripley TN, this event is probably one of the older Benefit Catfish Tournaments in the Mid-South.  Register online and pay at the ramp the morning of the event.  Weigh-in and all other festivities, which include, Live Music, Fish Plates, Beverages, Door Prize drawings, and Awards Cermony, will all take place a mile from the ramp at Pop's Bar and Grill.  Entry Fee is $225 per boat ( $25 for benefit and $200 for payout)  Registration begins at 4am at Pops Bar and Grill.  Rods in the water at 5:30am.  Rods out of the water at 3pm.  Be in weigh line by 4pm.  3 adults per boat, children under 16 may fish as extras.  3 fish limit of which only 2 fish over 34" per boat.  Only live healthy fish may be weighed.  No rod limit.   GetUSome!!!!!
